First Church offers several opportunities for Christian Education, both for children and adults. For children ages 5-10, a Sunday Church School class is offered Sunday mornings from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. Traditional Lutheran materials are used, published by Concordia Publishing House. 

For teenagers, a traditional Lutheran confirmation class is offered Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. This is, for now, a one year program that studies Luther's Small Catechism and is a survey of the entire Bible. A more suitable time is always possible. 

For adults, a thoughtful class is offered in the Parish Hall from 10:00-10:45. Topics include the Lutheran Confessions, movements in American Christianity, and scripture.
